About Me

I’m Steven Luttrell. I provide real-world tools and insights to support correctional food service managers and operations teams.

Steven Luttrell is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and correctional food service veteran with over five decades of leadership experience — from hotel kitchens to federal prisons to private-sector innovation.

He has served in food service roles with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, CoreCivic, and multiple contract providers. Over the years, Steven has trained hundreds of staff, developed institutional menus, managed large-scale operations, and led initiatives that reduced costs and improved outcomes.

His mission now?
To give food service professionals the tools, insights, and confidence to run kitchens that are safe, efficient, and respected.
